Our Story Gold Canyon was founded on courage, humility and passion, which are considered to be the true original ingredients behind Karen and Curt Waisath's dream. Our story begins as a dream in a little Arizona kitchen. Co-founder Karen Waisath wanted a candle that smelled as good and strong at home as it did in the store. She was determined to create this perfect candle and set out to do so. Her dream quickly turned into a journey and the creation of "The World's Finest." Along the way, we've conducted worldwide research to find the very best fragrances, wicks, wax and additives. We are 100% confident that we create the finest fragranced products. Karen not only created the perfect candles, she also created the perfect business that would allow her to be at home with her children. The Waisaths quickly discovered that people not only loved their candles, but also the opportunity and flexibility of having a candle business.
